2026 HR Workshop Reflection | Kristi Anderson
March 5, 2026
The AMIN HR Finance Operations Workshop was a big success in San Diego this year! We are celebrating its 15th anniversary as a cornerstone event for the HR, finance, and operations communities. This event aims to foster collaboration, professional growth, and innovation.
It was a highlight to co-host with member volunteers Brand Shiver Vess from Slingshot and Tara Wiley from Signal Theory.
The workshop was packed with valuable and rich content presented by the industry’s best. We kicked off the workshop with one of everyone’s highlights of the event, the agency update presentations. These showcase the heart of AMIN, which is using our expertise to inspire and support our fellow allies. It is truly invaluable to learn from each agency and connect in a way that is immediately impactful.
There is so much value in the AMIN HR conference that goes beyond the planned sessions. It’s the shared ideas, honest conversations, and practical solutions you bring back with you.

Thanks for all the time and effort you put into planning the workshop this year. I know that it’s a lot on top of your day to day roles. I’m always reminded what a valuable resource it is for our agencies to sit in a room with colleagues in similar positions, dealing with similar problems, and willing to share for the betterment of all. I appreciate you all so much!

Ultimately, the most valuable part of the workshops are the people you meet & the relationships you build. Our members want to learn from one another, share knowledge, discover best practices, and discuss business challenges.
Many of these attendees are next generation leaders, who contribute and learn via collaborative discussions, valuable networking opportunities, internal breakouts, and during social interactions, making indispensable connections.
We hope everyone walks away inspired and reignited! AMIN is made up of some pretty amazing thought leaders and subject matter experts, these folks are what make AMIN and allyship so special!
Trust is at the core of everything we do, and this workshop exemplifies this trust. That, coupled with the ability to participate is a differentiator!
We are looking forward to this years’ upcoming AMIN events and are thrilled to bring these valuable experiences to our members.
Hope to see you there!
-Kristi
