What do you get when you combine nine different flavors of the leading sports drink, a season of INDYCAR racing, one of the largest supermarket retailers in the country and a Danish spokesperson? You get the Hy-Vee Ready, Set, Gatorade Guess promotion, of course.
Meyocks’ client, Hy-Vee, is the sponsor of the Rahal Letterman Lanigan number 45 INDYCAR and its driver, Christian Lundgaard. Looking to tie-in a season-long retail promotion featuring Gatorade, Hy-Vee turned to Meyocks to create the promotion and a series of videos for use on social media to help generate fun and excitement around the concept.
Inspired by the latest social media visual trends, as well as creating a few of its own, Ready, Set, Gatorade Guess kept race fans and social viewers engaged over the course of nine races. In the pits, the Meyocks crew was constantly fine tuning to keep things firing on all cylinders. And, it all resulted in a win – sales for Gatorade and social engagement for Hy-Vee.
