Burns & McDonnell, a 117-year-old engineering firm, came to SHS with an assignment: “help us rebrand to reflect our exponential growth, wide scope of services and consultative relationships with clients, particularly as we expand internationally.”

The more we learned, the more all involved could see that the 25-year-old logo didn’t reflect the dynamics of today’s company. And to their credit, Burns & McDonnell was open to change and risk. Leadership and employees embraced the rebrand and new look and feel. Turns out, these engineers were willing to re-engineer themselves.
