Some worthy news: M&T Bank billboard receives a Midas Award.

We are thrilled to announce we received a Silver Midas in the “Outdoor” category for the “Understanding what’s important” billboard produced for M&T Bank. At the outset of this campaign, M&T asked its customers to share what’s important to them in order to better understand and serve them. Over the course of five weeks, the outdoor billboard gradually became populated with messages based on customer responses. Oh, yeah, and this also just happened to be the first-ever 3D billboard in Buffalo. Check it out.
The Midas Awards competition is the only awards show to recognize excellence in financial marketing and advertising on a global scale. The 2016 competition received entries from 21 countries worldwide, from some of the largest marketing agencies in the world. This year, the Midas Awards saw an impressive 23% increase in entries, making it that much more challenging to be considered, let alone awarded.
Earlier this year, the TV portion of the “Understanding what’s important” campaign was recognized with a Telly Award. The Telly Awards is a national competition honoring creative excellence in film, video, and television.
