OhioHealth Taps Doe-Anderson as Agency of Record

COLUMBUS, OH. – August 23, 2016 – OhioHealth, one of the largest healthcare systems in Ohio and the surrounding region, has selected Doe-Anderson as its agency of record for marketing communications. Doe-Anderson is a 100-year-old agency with a long history of producing effective work across a wide variety of categories, particularly within the healthcare industry.

For OhioHealth, the agency will be responsible for image, branding and positioning strategies, advertising campaign strategy and development across all channels, media planning and buying, creative services including writing and design, digital concepting and execution, and campaign measurement and results.

OhioHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare system with more than 28,000 people delivering care in hospitals, medical centers, and outpatient facilities throughout 47 counties in northern, central and southern Ohio. For its part, Doe-Anderson has more than 100 staff people based in its Louisville, Kentucky offices and offers a full array of marketing services.

“We’re really excited to have Doe-Anderson join our OhioHealth family,” said Sue Jablonski, SVP and Chief Communications Officer, OhioHealth. “We’ve been really impressed with the strength of the strategic and creative partnership the agency has with their clients which obviously contributes to the success of their work. What really sealed the deal for us was the cultural fit. The healthcare world is complex and ever-changing and we’re looking forward to charting new territory together with the Doe-Anderson team.”

“As soon as we started talking with OhioHealth, we realized that our respective cultures complemented each other perfectly,” said Doe-Anderson President and CEO Todd Spencer. “That relationship is critical to doing effective work, and we’re confident this will be a long and productive partnership.”

OhioHealth becomes the latest healthcare-related client to tap into Doe-Anderson’s extensive experience in the category. The agency also works with Norton Healthcare and Hosparus in Louisville, Franciscan Alliance in Indiana and Illinois, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
