Glow Berlin joins AMIN Worldwide

AMIN is a global alliance of more than 50 independent marketing agencies. glow now fills the gap in the EMEA region. “We liked the broad scope of work for a variety of clients and their strenghts in strategic and digital topics as well as the broad experience of the two managing partners,” adds Hans van Eemeren (President AMIN Worldwide – EMEA region and Partner of Intracto in Belgium). “Germany is an important market in the world and we are glad to have found the ideal partner in that market.”

glow is a performance driven creative agency with 20 people. The clients range from NGOs and public clients like Caritas, Berlin Senat, the Berlin Police to the Ministry of Interior and to brands like Allianz or Doc Morris. The agency is located in lively Berlin Mitte district in short distance from Bundestag or the many associations and political players surrounding it. “We are proud to gather all the necessary knowledge inhouse to serve our clients holistically,” says Sebastian Wilke.

The agency is unique for its two managing partners rich experience in different parts of the advertising and marketing business. Sebastian Wilke started his career at digital pioneer “Pixelpark”, a start-up of the first digital wave in 1994. He worked as a content architect e.g. for the first ever website of online banking pioneer comdirect Bank, subsidiary of Commerzbank. Wilke then joined Ogilvy in Frankfurt (where he met Johannes) and later Scholz & Friends in Berlin (where they met again) as a copywriter. After a stop at BBDO he worked three years at KPMG orchestrating national marketing operations. Johannes Krempl studied Communication-Design, worked at YAR in New York before joining Ogilvy in Frankfurt. After several years as Creative Director at Scholz & Friends and BBDO he founded glow in 2007. He won numerous awards (including Cannes Lion in Gold) for creative and marketing excellence.

Johannes Krempl: “Our philosophy at glow is that we see a shift from brand oriented thinking to customer focused thinking. So we have to collect data to know as much as we can about tour target audience to generate the right approach individually and successfully.” That´s why the agency built a strong arm in social media. We do workshops to generate and connect data about customers.
