Sweet partnership forms to reintroduce the world to an extraordinary box of chocolates

Kansas City, Mo. – Christopher Elbow Chocolates, a brand known for crafting gourmet, artisanal chocolates, has chosen Sullivan Higdon & Sink (SHS) as its creative partner. Christopher Elbow Chocolates will partner with SHS, a full-service branding agency with decades of experience in the food industry, in order to continue to build its business through intentional marketing efforts. Christopher Elbow is focused on creating new and innovative chocolates through a combination of European-style craftsmanship with modern interpretations of flavors and designs.

 Christopher Elbow Chocolates operates storefronts in Kansas City and San Francisco, and is also sold by retailers in 14 states. Distribution through web traffic and corporate gifting also makes up a large share of sales. Every chocolate product is handcrafted and packaged in-house. While widely known for its colorfully painted bonbons, the complete product line expands beyond chocolate boxes to drinking chocolate, chocolate bars, nuts and sauces.

 Agency assignments will include marketing and communication efforts to grow the Christopher Elbow Chocolates brand. The primary focus will be website development, craft chocolate positioning, messaging and packaging, content strategy and execution, and product marketing.

 The addition of Christopher Elbow Chocolates adds to SHS’s depth of experience in the food industry, which currently includes extensive research through FoodThink, a multiyear mission to uncover how and why consumers make the food decisions they do in the grocery store, in the drive-thru, at the dinner table and anywhere food is consumed.
