The Mean More® Score – Focus on Categories
Meyocks helps brands shape marketplace meaning. To track our progress, we’ve developed our own propriety metric called the Mean More® Score. It’s based on a straightforward concept of quantifying consumer disappointment with having to use the second choice in a category. Here’s how it works:
Think of your favorite brand in a specific category, for example, supermarkets. Think of the importance that brand plays in your life. Now imagine that brand no longer exists.
How do you replace that brand? What brand would you replace it with? How disappointed are you that you have to go with your second choice?
This is the underpinning of the Mean More® score.
