Richter7 Launches Campaign to End Suicide Now

RICHTER7 LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO END SUICIDE NOW
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 2, 2010 - Richter7, a Salt Lake City-based advertising and public relations agency, has created a new campaign for endsuicidenow.org with the headline, “A light in your darkest hour.” The artwork can only be seen at night or in the dark. Posters are displayed at several Salt Lake Community College campuses with the intent to direct anyone struggling with depression to the website to get the help they need.
“Having the headline glow in the dark punctuates the concept,” said Gary Sume, creative director and copywriter for Richter7. “It is something we haven’t seen before and believe it will grab the attention of passers-by.”
Endsuicidenow.org was started as a way for those who have been affected by depression or suicide to be directed toward help.
Established in 1971, Richter7 has been named Utah’s “Best of State” advertising agency seven times in the past decade, and is nationally recognized for effective advertising, public relations, online, interactive and design for clients from Minneapolis to Hawaii.
