The
Advertising and Marketing International Network (AMIN)
Worldwide is a global network made up of independent
agencies dedicated to fueling the profitable growth of
its members. Our 65 member agencies, located throughout
North America, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim,
represent an alliance of some of the best
independently owned communications firms in the world.
Our alliance is both deep in expertise and wide in its
scope and reach.
Our members have combined billings of more than $2.6
billion, with an average agency size of $75 million in
capitalized billings. Our 78 offices worldwide have
more than 3,100 talented staff members. In North
America alone, our member agencies represent more than $2
billion in billing and have a total of 2,100 employees
in 37 offices.
The collaboration and cooperation among AMIN agencies
worldwide provides our clients with an incredible
global reach. In fact, this alliance of strong
independent agencies effectively delivers clout and
reach equal to that offered by any multi-national
agency, with one significant difference because our
agencies are locally based in more than 30
countries worldwide, we have the inside, grassroots
market knowledge that can create an edge for client
brands and companies.
Led by highly successful, committed business owners,
these agencies have come together to share
capabilities, resources and experience, all to help
each of them and their clients continue to grow and
prosper in todays competitive environment.
AMIN North America, with member agencies across the
United States and Canada, brings together the
expertise, creativity and strength of leading
independent agencies throughout the region. AMIN
agencies, typically full-service in scope, provide
communications and marketing support to an impressive
list of blue-chip clients, including many Fortune 500
companies. Their capabilities are deep, and their
creative product is the best in the business. AMIN
agencies are known in their respective markets and
beyond for their strong management, growth histories
and potential, and their ability to deliver insightful
creative across diverse categories, both consumer and
B-to-B.
Networking
Our non-competitive policies and cooperative spirit
encourage AMIN members to share their knowledge and
expertise throughout the network. AMIN agency leaders
have the opportunity to learn from each other about
best practices in agency management across all aspects
of the business, solutions to creative challenges, and
gain ready access to local market information
regionally, nationally and globally.
Growth Lessons
In addition to informal opportunities for sharing
information, AMIN North America hosts a variety of
conferences that provide our members with in-depth
training in their particular area of expertise. These
gatherings of agency leaders, from across all
disciplines, provide outstanding opportunities for
agencies to grow and develop their management teams.
Cost-effective conferences are offered for virtually
all agency functions, including senior management,
media, account planning, public relations, finance,
information systems, creative and account service.
Global Capabilities
While AMIN members are local, independently owned
agencies, the network gives members access to local
and international markets in a branch office
structure. Yet, unlike many multi-national agencies,
our local expertise, whether in Portland or Paris, is
truly local, with agency leaders who are market
natives and have a depth of knowledge not found in
organizations where staff move in and out frequently.
This gives our clients access to contacts in markets
worldwide, which not only offers them more effective
counsel, but also provides cost savings in time and
travel.
Media Resources
One of the greatest values delivered to member
agencies by AMIN are the group and volume discounts
for media and research services. In essence, through
the negotiating power of AMIN, member agencies are
able to access extensive national caliber media tools
that offer an advantage to clients at a local,
regional or national level.
Specialty Legal Services
AMIN contracts with a New York advertising law firm,
Reed Smith, to provide its
members and their clients with leading-edge leagal
expertise on current and emerging issues.
